1.
Tape the covers to your RV where they should go.
Use masking tape that easily comes off and won't
leave glue on your rig in the hot weather. |
 |
2.
Mark the back of the top-center snap (the female
snap on the cover) with chalk, crayon or pencil. |
 |
3.
Press the snap on the cover against the fiberglass.
|
 |
4.
It will leave a "ring" from the chalk, crayon
or pencil. |
 |
5.
In the center of the ̉ring," make a 1/4"
deep pilot hole using a 1/8" drill bit. |
 |
6.
Countersink the hole and fill it with silicone
as seen in the next 4 photos... |
 |
(to
countersink you could use a large drill bit, if
you wish) |
 |
(it
should look like this) |
 |
(silicone
goes here) |
 |
7.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, screw the male snap
into the rig. |
 |
8.
Mount the bottom-center fastener, then the four
corner fasteners. Mount the side covers in the
same way. |
